 Chartis is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the coordination and smooth execution of multiple projects across clients. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing schedules, status updates, and ensuring tasks are completed on time while working closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders. This position focuses on facilitating communication, tracking progress, and maintaining alignment across all project contributors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow their project management skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Location: Chicago-area preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating and managing project activities to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Monitor project status and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of progress, tasks, and risks.
  • Provide regular updates to internal teams and clients to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Support cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and marketers, by facilitating communication and ensuring alignment.
  • Help ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Track and report project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to maintain alignment with the project scope.
  • Prepare and maintain status reports, project schedules, and task lists for all active projects.
  • Provide administrative support for meetings, decks, and presentations as needed.
  • Schedule and organize client and internal team meetings, ensuring agendas are prepared and follow-ups are tracked.
  • Work directly with clients and stakeholders to manage all aspects of the projects.
     

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years of relevant project coordination or management experience (agency or digital marketing experience is a plus).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts (e.g., SEO, Paid Search, Web Development, MarTech, Analytics, CRO).
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Jira is a plus.
  • A proactive and client-first mindset, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
